Warranty: Kobra paper shredders are covered by a Limited Warranty for the sole benefit of the original purchaser. This Limited Warranty is valid FOR A PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR from the date of the original ship ment against all defects in materials and workmanship: FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE (5) YEARS from the date of original purchase against cutter and blade failures in all models (except High Security models). In the event such effects are within the warranty period Marquis Business Systems will at its sole option repair or replace with an equivalent product at no charge to the original purchaser. This Limited Warranty is void if the Kobra product has been damaged by accident, unreasonable use, neglect, vandalism, negligence, improper service, or other causes not arising out of defect in material or workmanship; and if we have not been given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the product alleged to be defective.
